La Festa is St. Ambrose Parish’s annual picnic and one of The Hill’s springtime traditions. The parish describes it as a day that brings parishioners and neighbors together, and a chance for alumni and former parishioners to reconnect with the neighborhood.
When it happens
According to the parish, La Festa is held on the first Sunday in May. If the tradition holds, that would be Sunday, May 2, 2027. Dates for 2027 had not been announced as of October 2026, so confirm with the parish before making plans.

Proceeds support St. Ambrose Parish and St. Ambrose School, both on Wilson Avenue. Times and the exact layout aren’t posted yet. Check the St. Ambrose calendar and weekly bulletin in the spring.
