The Hill opens its holiday season on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, with Christmas on The Hill. The neighborhood association bills it as an annual day of Christmas fun for friends, neighbors and the whole family.
What’s planned
- Visits with Santa
- Storytelling from La Befana, the kindly witch of Italian Christmas tradition
- Kids’ crafts
- Cookie decorating
The 2026 listing doesn’t name a single venue. Like last year, the activities are spread across the neighborhood. At the 2025 event, Santa was at Piazza Imo, crafts and cookie decorating were at the Hill Neighborhood Center, La Befana read stories at Gelato di Riso, and St. Ambrose served hot chestnuts and drinks. The 2026 locations may differ, so check the event page for the final schedule before you go.
Make a weekend of it
The next afternoon, Sunday, December 6, the Hill Business Association holds its Christmas Night Market on Daggett Avenue. Saturday’s family activities and Sunday’s market together make an easy holiday weekend on The Hill.
