SKIF International

SKIF International is a St. Louis knitwear label founded by Nina Ganci, whose story with the brand began in 1992. The company makes its clothing in the United States and works from a studio on The Hill that customers can visit by appointment.

SKIF is best known for sweaters and cardigans, many of them hand-made, along with deconstructed outerwear and other women’s clothing. The line began with all-natural, American-made cotton mop yarn and has since expanded into linen, silk, rayon, nylon and wool; metal button closures and metal hangtags are signature details. Its tagline, “Every body is a sweater designer,” reflects the brand’s focus on comfortable, modern pieces.
