Family-run Hill pasta house since 1974; no reservations, dinner only

Cunetto House of Pasta is a family-owned Italian-American restaurant that brothers Vince and Joe Cunetto, both former pharmacists, opened on The Hill in October 1974 after selling their pharmacy. Vince’s son, Frank Cunetto, runs it today.
The large menu centers on pasta and St. Louis Italian standards. Dishes the restaurant highlights include chicken Marsala, cannelloni, toasted ravioli, tutto mare, eggplant Parmesan, garlic cheese bread and its house salad. Daily specials include lasagna on Sundays, chicken spiedini on Wednesdays and beef spiedini on Thursdays. Carry-out orders and gift certificates are available by phone.
Cunetto’s has a longstanding policy of not taking reservations, so expect a wait when it’s busy. It currently serves dinner only, Wednesday through Sunday from 4:45pm, and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Lunch service is suspended.
