Private guided tasting tour of The Hill, starting at Café Dolce
Family chocolatier's Hill factory, also making Bissinger's sweets

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company is a St. Louis chocolatier founded in 1981 by the father of current co-owner Dan Abel Jr. Its 30,000-square-foot factory on Pattison Avenue, just north of the Kingshighway and I-44 interchange, consolidated the company’s candy kitchens and warehouse under one roof.
The company makes hundreds of confections; local press has highlighted its International Truffle line, seasonal items such as peppermint bark and heavenly hash eggs, and especially hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries. In 2019 the Abel family bought Bissinger’s, the historic St. Louis chocolatier, and moved production of Bissinger’s truffles and gummy pandas to the Hill facility.
The factory has historically offered free guided tours that look in on the production line and candy kitchens and end at an outlet shop. Because tour details were not confirmed in a current source, call ahead before planning a visit.
