Bissinger’s Chocolate Cafe

The Chocolate Cafe @ Candy Kitchen is a café run by Bissinger’s, the St. Louis chocolatier, inside its candy kitchen facility on Pattison Avenue just off I-44 and Kingshighway. Bissinger’s traces its confectionery heritage to Paris in 1668 and is still family-owned.

The café serves coffee drinks and sandwiches alongside the full range of Bissinger’s handmade chocolates and caramels, including boxed collections such as the St. Louis Chocolate Collection. It works well for a quick breakfast or lunch stop or for picking up chocolate gifts.

The café keeps daytime hours on weekdays and Saturdays and is closed Sundays. Bissinger’s also runs St. Louis-area boutiques at Plaza Frontenac, the Saint Louis Galleria and Macy’s West County, and it sells online.
