The Hill's oldest continuously operating Italian spot, since 1957

Rigazzi’s has been on Daggett Avenue since 1957, when Lou Aiazzi and John Riganti opened it and combined their names. It calls itself the oldest continuously operating Italian restaurant on The Hill. In 2023, two longtime regulars, Corey Christanell and Donn Ganim, bought the restaurant and updated the menu while keeping its traditions.
Its trademark is the 32-ounce frozen fishbowl, a frosted goblet usually filled with beer, including a Rigazzi’s Golden Ale brewed for the restaurant. The menu sticks to approachable Italian-American comfort food: house-made toasted ravioli, cheese garlic bread, pizza, lasagna, baked mostaccioli, meatballs and chicken Parmesan.
The dining room keeps its checkered tablecloths and a family-friendly atmosphere. Rigazzi’s is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers reservations, online ordering, catering and private events.
