What does it take to make Anthonino's famous house salad dressing? Probably not as much as you'd think. Anthonino's continues to rank as one of the highest-rated Greek & Italian restaurant in St. Louis, boasting 4.5 stars on over 800 reviews.

 1 cup Grated English Cucumber
 2 cups Extra Rich Mayonnaise
 1.25 cups Half-and-Half
 2 tbsp Sour Cream
 0.25 tsp Granulated Sugar
 0.25 tsp Salt
 0.25 tsp Pepper
 0.25 tsp Dried Oregano
 0.25 cup Olive Oil
 0.25 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1

Let grated cucumber drain in a colander for about 10 minutes.

2

In a large bowl, combine cucumber, salad dressing and half-and-half; use an immersion blender to blend until creamy. Blend in sour cream, sugar, salt, pepper and oregano.

3

With the blender running, slowly pour oil into dressing close to the blades; repeat with balsamic vinegar until dressing is light and creamy.

4

To serve Anthonino’s-style, serve dressing with a house salad of romaine, tomato, red pepper, cucumber, pepperocini, kalamata and feta and if you like, topped with grilled chicken, salmon, vegetables or shrimp.
